About Me

My husband and I met in college in 1995.

We both served missions for the LDS church--my husband to Mexico from 1996 to 1998 and I served in Chile from 1997 to 1998.

After our missions, we were in a Spanish class together in college and got reacquainted (in January of 1999).

We started dating and were married in December of 1999.

In May of 2000 I graduated with a Secondary Education Teaching Certificate in English and Spanish.

My husband graduated in December of 2000 with a degree in Economics and Finance and Spanish.

In August of 2001 our first child, Ellie, was born.

In August of 2002 we moved to a smaller town in WI because of a job change for my husband.

In February of 2003 Buddy was born.

In August of 2004 we moved to Minneapolis, MN so that my husband could attend graduate school at the Carlson School of Management at the University of MN.

Doctor was born in September of 2005.

In May of 2006 my husband graduated with his MBA and we moved back to WI so that he could begin work for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

We bought our first home in July of 2006.

Scooby was born in July of 2007.

Princess was born in October of 2009.

My interests include writing, reading, blogging, scrap booking, gardening, and exercising.

I enjoy preparing lessons and teaching.

I am very organized but at the same time can be very lazy.

I love being a wife and mother.

My goals include writing a short story, running a marathon, serving several missions with my husband for our church, and being the best mom and person I can be.
